Carlos Quintana was born in Peru, the son of an outstanding and renowned musician. Carlos comes from a family of 5 children, each a professional musician who studied at the Conservatory of Music in Peru. From a very young age, Carlos found himself attracted to latin music, as he was present every moment of his father's orquestra rehearsals. His father, seeing the interest Carlos had in music, gave him his first musical lessons and later registered him as a student at the Conservatory of Music. While he studied at the conservatory, Carlos took his first steps in the art of latin music as a member of his father's orquestra, where he performed as the group's piano player.
