Greetings Latin
musc fans!
I'm starting
to do research and assemble an article that would highlight some
of the greatest Latin piano solos ever heard as part of a recording
in the musical context of a band ensemble/orchestra.
This will be
a collaborative assay so you have a change to be part of this
historic article. If you would like to participate, please email
the following information for editorial consideration:
NAME OF ARTIST:
NAME OF RECORDING:
NAME OF SONG:
YEAR/DATE OF THE RECORDING:
NOTES: In your own words, please write a paragraph about the
piano solo and why you think it should be included among the
greatest Latin music piano solos ever. Also, please email the
actual sound recording.
Very important,
please include your name, State/Country where you live. Information
needs to be submitted in English; although Spanish would be OK
(we will try to translate for our readers).
Notes:
You don't have to be an expert musician to listen to a piece
of music and feel its deep energy. Meaning, you can be a fan
of Latin music. If you have heard a piano solo that has moved
your spirit, please feel free to submit your choice.
Also, please
keep in mind that some of the greatest piano solos on recordings
have been performed by musicians that are not famous, or perhaps
considered sidemen.
Please reply
to: ritmocity@yahoo.com
The article will be published at: LatinSheetMusic.com. We reserve
the right to publish or not publish the submission. Please use
the specific submission format detailed above. Thank you.
