Lecture Workshop Audio CD
As with his groudbreaking
CD "Ritmo Jazz Latino", Ramirez continues to showcase
his versatility as a composer, arranger, instrumentalist as well
as producing skills featuring eight compositions that touch a
wide spectrum of Jazz. From swing, bebop, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian
music, to rhythms from Central/South America and the Caribbean,
R&B and funk grooves, Ramirez's repertoire represents an
extraordinary fusion of world music with Jazz influence.
This recording
is blessed with the talent of violinist Federico Britos. This
titan of the violin, who is as equally adept within the world
of jazz music as he is in the classical realm, has built a solid
reputation throughout the Southern Hemisphere of the Americas.
